"Merike, Thank you so much for your expertise in altering my wedding down. Your patience and skill was wonderful."Susan
Due to the unique nature and intricacies of the custom design, we recommend to book in - person consultation to discuss the potential project design, possible fabrics and details.
While we are talented and creative, and capable for capturing customer ideas - we encourage to research and browse for ideas on their own. Photos, magazine images and favorite clothing items are welcomed to the consultations.
Following the consultation, customers need to purchase their own fabrics and notions for the project. We will be delighted to guide you to the best fabric shops in the area and give you the estimated amount of materials needed for the project. We strongly advise to NOT to purchase the fabric prior to the consultation due to the individual technicalities of a particular design.
Fabric patterns (muslin) would be custom made for every customer. We offer patternmaking for the ambitious clients who wish to try their skills at home using the personalized patterns.
For the proper measurements we advise customers to bring undergarments and shoes to the consultation. This ensures the perfect measurements a speedy process of the project and eliminates the excess fittings necessary to achieve a perfect fit.
Every custom design project is unique and so are the prices. During the consultations we give customers the estimated cost for the project. That means that the actual price for the finished garment might be different due to the actual time and extra materials needed to complete the order.
